On 30th December 2025, Vision Orphanage Home and Widows Empowerment Center once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to compassion, community service, and human dignity by hosting a special community empowerment and celebration program that brought hope, joy, and relief to widows, orphaned children, and members of the host community.

The event, held within the Vision Orphanage community in Mgbakwu, Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State, was a heartfelt blend of Christmas celebration, humanitarian outreach, and community bonding. It reflected the core mission of the organization: to uplift the vulnerable and restore hope where it is most needed.

Empowering Widows Through Care and Support

At the heart of the program was a widows’ empowerment outreach, where food materials and essential items were distributed to support widows during the festive season. Items shared included bags of rice, noodles, and other food supplies, ensuring that the beneficiaries could celebrate Christmas with dignity and without hunger.
